“I absolutely loved it.”
Gibby chose his mom, Rhea Montavon, as soon as she arrived at the shelter, and she immediately knew he was the one she’d be taking home. Ever since then, they’ve been best friends, and she’s always more than happy to put up with his antics.
Montavon used to have a printer for work, and Gibby absolutely loved playing with the papers while his mom was trying to scan them. She recently got a new printer — and this one has a copier on top.

“As I was setting it up, he of course wanted to check it out, so I opened it up, [and] he plopped right on top, and I just knew I had to do a scan,” Montavon told The Dodo.
Montavon wasn’t quite sure what to expect as the copier did its thing — and the results were better and stranger than she ever expected.

“He watched very intently, and I pet him to make sure he wasn’t scared,” Montovan said. “He didn’t even mind. Once the printing had started, he just laid down and watched the paper come out.”
The art that Gibby and his mom created together was an adorable photo of his paws — one that kind of looked like they were disconnected from a body. For Montavon, though, the photo was exactly what she wanted.
“I absolutely loved it,” Montavon said. “It’s currently on the wall!”

Montavon is so glad she and Gibby worked together to create a masterpiece — but they might have to slow down on creating more anytime soon.
“I ended up making two scans of his beans and in fact used, like, 75 percent of the black ink right off the bat,” Montavon said.
